Final Filming Set for May 2025 in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA – March 7, 2025 – Actor Sean Rogers (The Flash, Dinner in America) has joined an all-star ensemble cast, including Eric Roberts (Runaway Train, Babylon, The Dark Knight), Bai Ling (The Crow, Crank: High Voltage), and Isaac C. Singleton Jr. (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Mandalorian, Deadpool), to headline the highly anticipated cyberpunk action-thriller Emergence 2028. Rounding out the cast are Anthony Preston (Too Hot to Handle, Days of Our Lives) and Paris Dylan (Dying to Sleep).
Set in a crumbling, near-future Los Angeles, Emergence 2028 follows black ops contractor Cal “Geist” Richter (Ian Kane), whose routine data retrieval mission becomes a desperate fight for survival. Rogers plays Revik, a powerful and enigmatic corporate mogul whose hidden agenda could determine the city’s fate. As Richter’s team uncovers a far-reaching conspiracy, they are hunted by a ruthless syndicate boss (Roberts) and the enigmatic Savina (Ling), forcing them into a world of cutthroat assassins, corporate espionage, and existential threats that warp the line between humanity and genetic horrors.
Written and directed by Ian Kane (The Visitor), Emergence 2028 is produced by Dreamflight Entertainmentand features Daytime Emmy-winning producer Matt Taff. WithActs 1 and 2 already filmed, the final act is set to be completed in May 2025 in Los Angeles.
