I’ve just launched my new book website – iankanebooks.com – and released a couple of trailers for my new tech noir franchise, Fading Empires. The book series will encompass approximately 22 books in all (I’ve already written 4), and we also have films, video games, and a tabletop role-playing game planned.
Here is the main series trailer and brief description:
Established empires are fading and altered realities embrace a sinister future. Fading Empires is a time and place where unlikely heroes, scheming villains, monstrous entities, and ruthless super-gangs clash for dominance.
However, small pockets of resistance form, such as the one led by ex-black ops warrior Leonard Kilbane. But are the formidable forces arrayed against him and others in revolt too much to withstand?
The first book in the Fading Empires series, Twilight of the Colossus (book trailer here), will be launching on July 24, 2022 on Amazon. It’ll be free for two days so that my ARC (Advance Review Copy) readers can grab an eBook copy and leave their reviews. The more positive reviews that I can garner on launch day, the higher ranking the book will get, so thanks to everyone out there who supports us little self-published guys!
I have some other BIG news coming so will let everyone know about that soon. If you’d like to be informed first, please sign up for my non-spammy newsletter, here.
Also, if you’d like to become an ARC reader, click this link and receive your free eBook copy of Twilight of the Colossus (space is limited).
Here are some reviews (and interview) of older versions of the first book. My writing has grown a lot since then but these should give readers a basic idea:

LOVE THIS NEWS! Congrats on launching your site I went over and it looks fantastic! Can’t wait to read Twilight of the Colossus.
I have been one of your ARC readers for about 2 weeks and reading your first book, Twilight of the Colossus. I must say, you have excellent writing skills and I like how the scene switches happen logically and keep your eagerly waiting to see what happens in each story thread. The characters are all believable and people should find their own personal favorites (mine is Pike but don’t tell anyone).
Cheers Mr. Kane
Congrats Ian Kane!
Your new book site looks great and that main trailer is badass and looks well-produced. Did you create that yourself?
Anyway, looking forward to reading Twilight of the Colossus. I just signed up to be an ARC reader.
Ciao
Love it! iankanebooks looks so slick and professional yet kinda futuristic and cyber-punky! (if that’s a word). I’ll be reading your first book as well!
Congrats! New site looks so cool
