lan Kane offers creative consulting for filmmakers, writers, and producers who need practical help with story, script, post-production, world-building, and independent film development. His work focuses on identifying what is not landing, finding strong creative fixes, and helping projects move forward without overcomplicating the process.

I’ve always been drawn to stories about people pushed to the edge, and what they do when everything starts closing in. As a writer, director, and producer, I’m interested in the moments where performance, editing, tone, pacing, and world all have to line up. I’ve also spent time in front of the camera, which helps me understand what actors need from the other side. A lot of the work is problem-solving, finding the fixes that keep projects moving and make the moments stronger.
